Core Fitness is a local fitness group which focuses on physiotherapy and pilates for their clients, and the importance of health and fitness. They wanted a visual upgrade / revamp from their current existing website, while closely following the color schemes and design style guide.
As there were a lot of text information regarding different therapy and treatments within the homepage, which might make scrolling for smaller screen sizes a bit of a hassle. Thus, these considerations to be made:
❌ Methods of reducing considerable amount of text (More images, focused on core treatment and therapy etc.)
❌ Making the website more vibrant and fun
After deciding and thinking through these design challenges, I took these actions to solve these issues above.
✅ Reducing the treatment and therapies into sliders, so that it would be less information overload per page
✅ Addition of various shapes and patterns for the background to make the website more vibrant and fun, and simple
If there were future improvements to the website, the changes that I would make (non-client input):
💭 Addition of therapy videos (short video) when the user hovers over images, such that users can understand the treatment without the need to click into the particular treatment subpage unless they would like to find out more in depth
